While we all pray for snow to fill our lake [among other things] our staff took advantage of this opportunity to help the USFS clean up years of submersed ‘trash’. We spent five hours with our big equipment on Tuesday January 28 to remove some bizarre things; an engine block, two wood burning stoves, six 55 gallon drums with re-bar spikes, six 20 foot pipe sections, concrete anchors including a concrete lid that was stolen from one of our over flow vaults at Camp Blue. Total of about 10 yards. Unfortunately the ‘community litter pick up’ planned by Kirk Patterson was canceled due to weather .. stay tuned!!
