(I) Just had a conversation with a USFS LEO and as of today (05/21/20) he told me that cabin owners may access their cabins, but the main road is closed just beyond the grocery store. I asked him about cabin owners on the south and north side of the lake and he stated that boats are NOT being allowed on the lake (therefore the north shore is not accessible unless they want to hike there from their parked car) but south shore owners may park their cars at the cabin owner parking lot at the end of the main road (but they have to access the parking lot via Rustic Road and not by the main road going by the beach area) and they need their permits as usual.
I was also advised that the USFS will re-evaluate the closure order on June 1.
Also, FYI, Tuolumne County has only had 2 cases of COVID-19 and no deaths (or, so the Mercury News tells me….)
