Tuolumne Board of Supervisors Invite Public Comment on USFS/PG&E Shoreline Plan

There will be a Community Meeting regarding the Pinecrest Shoreline Management Plan that will take place at the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors Chambers on April 23rd, 2012, from 4:00-6:00 pm.  PG&E operates the Pinecrest Lake and holds the FERC license for the Project.  PG&E is in the process of renewing their license through FERC and has developed the Shoreline Management Plan to meet the objectives of maintaining an appropriate balance between the prudent property management requirement of the FERC license and the public’s recreation interests.  District 3 Supervisor Evan Royce and Representatives from PG&E and Stanislaus National Forest will be in attendance to present the draft plan, listen to alternatives and answer any questions.  A copy of the plan can be obtained at, http://pinecrestlakeupdate.com/shoreline-management, or by contacting Tracie Riggs at the County Administrator’s Office at (209) 533-5534.

The Board Chambers are on the fourth floor at the County Admin Building, 2 Green Street, Sonora
